The standard in all competitions was of the highest calibre and National medals, of any colour, were very hard to come by which meant that the Westmeath boys and girls who won medals in draughts, cross country, culture corner, model making and table tennis all the more satisfactory. Mary Daly had a great race in the Wheelworx Naas Duathlon last week in Punchestown finishing second female overall.
